The LAB14 Group

Four Business Groups, shared competence in one network.

Advanced Structuring

Heidelberg Instruments is a global leader in direct-write lithography systems for micro- and nanopatterning. The portfolio spans from compact tabletop systems ideal for prototyping and R&D, to high-end photomask manufacturing equipment designed for high-volume industrial production. This breadth allows us to support a wide range of surface structuring techniques, including precise 2D patterning and complex 2.5D features using grayscale lithography, enabling advanced applications in photomask manufacturing, MEMS, micro-optics, packaging, sensors, and more. With over 1,500 systems installed in 50+ countries, the company supports research institutions and industrial facilities worldwide through a global network of subsidiaries.
The medium-sized company develops and produces 3D printers and grayscale lithography systems as well as specially developed printing materials and application-specific solutions for various microfabrication applications. The specialist for additive manufacturing of high-precision structures and objects on the nano-, micro- and mesoscale was founded in 2007 as a spin-off of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). More than 5,500 users and operators at top universities and innovative companies worldwide benefit from the company’s groundbreaking technology and application-tailored solutions for 3D micro- and nanofabrication.
Based in Munich, Germany, GenISys develops high-performance software for micro- and nano-fabrication process optimization. Its solutions enhance data modeling, lithography processes, and metrology for semiconductor and MEMS industries. With a strong global presence, GenISys delivers dedicated customer support to meet evolving demands.
